Things like hair are tricky, because I have made hair shorter to an extent, but only parts that aren't directly attached to the main hair tga.
In fact the same appears on Raiden's shoulder spikes, because they're a part of the actual model, not an accessory that folds around with his movements, thus when at angles, you can see the transparency in his shoulders. You color over parts to make it appear smaller, but if it's a part of the actual model and not an accessory like a shield or sword, then it will have the same transparent effect that you can see on the back of Fox's legs. If you can cut out the spikes on his shoulders, could you color parts transparent to make them look smaller?Depends on where you color. I have a couple others as well I can probably post up later on Zack Fair for Crisis Core fans, some original characters, and more MGS characters like Volgin, Laughing Octopus and Golab. Comes in very handy for someone making machinima out of Dissidia. I break down the actual character models usually into 6 GIM files, convert to TIM2, then with GSS, make them tga, and work on them from Photoshop. These are basically done using a combination of Photoshop, Game Graphic Studios, and an insertion program called Dissidia Suite. Still, all things considered, it turned out a lot better than I expected it to, so there's that I guess.

The transparent holes result from removing spikes that didn't match the model, certain things I couldn't remove without enduring gaping holes in the texture models, like Cecil's cape, plus due to the textures provided, I couldn't include certain things like the bandanna over Raiden's eye or Fox's stealth camo device on his waist, and I'm still trying to remove the green from the Fox model.

So after seeing Raiden in action in the Rising trailer, I really did want to find a way to use that model somewhere, and after learning how to use Dissidia Suite, I thought, "Meh, why not?" So I found a character model that best suited Rising Raiden and in time, made a Raiden texture out of Cecil Alt 2.Ĭourse, for those of you who do play this game, *.I'm assuming.sad* Cecil's got that Dark Knight model too, so instead of leaving that be, I thought, who better to pair up with the new ninja than the classic? As such, this was the result:Īdmittedly, I'm not 100% happy with the end result.
